
Adam Krzymowski (born 6 November 1973) is a diplomat, policy advisor, and professor with extensive experience in international affairs, strategy, and global governance. He contributed to key strategic processes related to Poland’s accession to the European Union and the fulfilment of NATO membership requirements, serving as a member of expert teams appointed by the Prime Minister of Poland to develop the national strategy in these areas. From 1999 to 2008, he served at the Office of the Committee for European Integration. In 2008, he represented Poland in the first governmental-parliamentary delegation to the European Space Agency in Paris, contributing to the process that led to Poland’s accession to the organisation. Between 2008 and 2011, he served in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland as Counsellor to the Prime Minister. In this capacity, he was responsible for monitoring global developments, coordinating international dialogue, and providing strategic policy advice on European Union affairs, transatlantic relations, and the Middle East. From February 2011 to August 2015, he served as Ambassador of Poland to the United Arab Emirates, where he played a key role in advancing bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation across political, economic, and strategic sectors. Following his diplomatic service, he conducted research at the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research. In 2016, he assumed the position of Senior Advisor to the UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation, responsible for Expo 2020 Dubai.Professor Krzymowski has lectured at leading academic institutions, including Sorbonne University, New York University in Abu Dhabi. He is the author of numerous scholarly publications addressing regional and global security policy, sustainable development challenges, and the evolving role of diplomacy and global governance in the emerging international order.
